The hazy figure stood at the edge of my sight. A sinister wind whipped through the trees, carrying with it a tang of death. My heart throbbed in my chest, as if trying to break free. This was it. My most dreaded nightmare becoming real. I shivered with a mixture of terror and incredulity. I had always known this possibility was out there, lurking i
